just testing out this whole blog from flickr thing.
i guess it could be redundant.

cocoon.

so i'm going thru a hard time in my life right now.
and i took a photo yesterday that feels pretty represented of it:

i am trying to change for the better.
so i will be keeping up this blog a lot more regularly.
hope things are good out there in internet land.

ok.
so im working on some new designs.
well more like different versions...



these are all from a hawaiian jail!
and the blue circles are vintage plastic that look like bamboo!
and i soldered all the jumprings, so it's just a continuous chain.
i wore it last nite to see how it feels,
and i think i might cut the keys in half and connect them with a jumpring,
so the whole necklace is more flexible and flows more.



these little orange links rule!

(so do iphones)



more to come today im sure!
and i have my metalsmithing class tonite,
so ill prolly finish my pendant!
yay!

and i walked the dogs 2 miles this morning!

stitch rock 2007!

so stitch rock was a HUGE success!
my momma came with me.
we had a wonderful time. and sold so much!






i made some awesome buttons!
and i hand drew a bunch of them!



well im tired.
so ill update this more tomorrow...

hi.

everyone else has a blog.
so i guess i need one too...

i did realize today,
after spending like 2 or 3 or 4 hours browsing other crafty-types blogs,
that i really enjoy knowing more about them.
seeing the process, and the progress.
so i figure there might be a few people who are a tad curious about me.

now i've tried this in the past.
and have never been able to stick with it.
this time will be different.
i hope.
so obviously i could use the encouragment to keep me posting!

i don't really keep a personal blog either.
so i feel like this is going to be a bit of both.
business & pleasure.
if nothing else it will keep it interesting.

i'm also going to try to keep my flickr account current.
we shall see.
i feel like my poor camera,
(& my purty face for that matter)
has been a tad neglected.
